Shipping Insurance:
It is understood and agreed that the following timelines for claims transmittal must be adhered to in order for a claim to be processed:
Lost Packages
Claims for packages presumed to be lost by the carrier, where the status is “not delivered” must be filed no sooner than 7 days after the scheduled delivery date for domestic shipments from the date the shipment was originally scheduled to be delivered. In most cases, USPS will mark the item "delivered" and deliver it 1-2 days later. If you still have not received your package please contact us.
Delivered Packages
Claims for packages marked 'delivered' must be filed after 5 days and before 15 days from the date the package was marked 'delivered'. Underwriters reserve the right to require proof of either a copy of a police report showing a report of theft or a security video recording showing evidence of theft. In these "delivered" cases, the "Claimant" has the burden to prove the item was never delivered.
Damaged Packages
Claims for packages that are damaged require proof of images showing the item was delivered “damaged” including the shipping box.
International Packages
At this time we do not offer shipping insurance for international packages. If you selected shipping insurance with your order, you are only entitled to shipping insurance costs.
